Our Leadership Team
Pastor Josh
Pastor Josh is our lead elder (pastor). He and his wife, Jennifer, moved to the Treasure Valley in the fall of 2017 for Josh to step into the pastorate here at UBC. Josh completed his undergraduate program at California Baptist University - School of Theology. He currently attends seminary online pursuing a Masters of Divinity.
Prior to moving to Idaho, he and his wife served in ministry in California and Arizona.
Pastor Josh and Jennifer enjoy hosting summer barbecues, traveling whenever possible, and living life with others.
Elders and Deacons
UBC believes in the ministry framework of the plurality of elders and deacons (Acts 14:23; 16:4; 20:17; 21:18; Titus 1:5; James 5:14). The by-laws were changed to reflect this conviction. Since then, UBC has been prayerfully seeking elders and deacons to join the team and a few men have entered into the training process.
Until training is complete, Penny is our stand in mascot.
